It's a Sunday night, and I am sitting in the playroom, and you have come out to say goodnight no less than three times. This is one of your traditions. You are never satisfied with saying goodnight once; it needs to be at least 2-3 times! I don't mind too much, but there are only so many times you can say good night.
We went camping this past weekend to celebrate the end of the school year. It's storm season. It rained in the tent, we are not camping people. We are cruise people! I think what disappointed me the most was that. You and I had put so much effort into the menu and preparing all the food. Thankfully, it didn't go to waste, and we managed a few meals at camp before we came home, and then we enjoyed the rest of our planned menu in the comfort of our house. You made the best steak marinade. We have all been picking at the leftover steak all day.
I can't wait for summer because you and I have some fun projects on our list. First up is making croissants. It's a long process, so they better be the most amazing croissants we have ever eaten. Gosh, I miss Paris. You and I might have to do a girls' trip one day to Paris. One of the benefits of being the only girl is that you are a bit more spoiled with trips out because we both need a break from the boys...as much as we love them. Sometimes, you need to just do girl stuff and enjoy being with girls.
